Fun reads for the week:

This one is kind of mind-blowing. The whiskey boom of the last 15 years or so led to a lot of whiskey being made Kansas-based MGP distillery and then ended up in many of your favorite brands, including Bulleit. A lot of that likely had to do with the fact that good whiskey takes time to age and new distilleries still wanted a whiskey product - because customers did. Well, at least some of that product is being made in-house, and I’m sure there are plenty of other factors like agave spirits overtaking whiskey in popularity, but decreasing whiskey sales has MGP scaling whiskey production down to focus on branded spirits.
