Now, we turn our newsletter over to Tristan Walczewski, Essence Restaurant Group COO and an Advanced Sommelier. This guy knows wine, and he does so with an elegant ease and the mission to make wine accessible — and he does a bang up job at that.

So without further ado, here is Tristan diving into Snowden family wines. He gives us a quick breakdown on the relationship between a modest Grand Rapids restaurant group and an equally modest Napa vineyard, as well as the wines they had at a recent, amazing wine dinner.
